Gap Analysis
''The report was crystal clear and gave us a list of concrete actions to protect our business. We used it as a basis for setting strategy and getting sign-off at CEO level for the measures recommended.''
A Slave-Free Alliance Gap Analysis is an independent review of your organisation’s response to its modern slavery risks. We will identify good practice and areas for improvement across your operations and supply chain. We conduct the review in view of relevant legislation and industry best practice. Your Gap Analysis will include:
- Reviews of relevant policies and processes, including Modern Slavery Statements
- Discussions with key employees across a variety of departments
- A report with recommendations
- A collaborative debrief with your key stakeholders
Who can benefit from a Slave-Free Alliance Gap Analysis?
Whether your organisation’s anti-slavery programme is in its infancy, already compliant or industry-leading, Slave-Free Alliance guidance and insight is tailored to your capabilities and current operations. The recommendations you get are clear and actionable and we can help you to implement them.
A Slave-Free Alliance Gap Analysis provides the foundation for a best practice anti-slavery programme. It supports you to be compliant with relevant modern slavery legislation and to be future-proofed against changes in regulation and guidance. Technical services like Gap Analysis can be combined with our other Services like Training and our Membership programme.
Site Assessments
A Slave-Free Alliance Site Assessment goes beyond an audit: it appraises a site’s effectiveness in addressing its risk of modern slavery and labour exploitation. The assessment also identifies any best practice or indicators and/or issues of modern slavery.
Site Assessments can be carried out at one of your sites or one of your suppliers’ sites. They are customisable: we can assess sites in view of internationally recognised standards, local law and our indicators of modern slavery and labour exploitation. We can carry out announced, semi-announced and unannounced site assessments. Slave-Free Alliance Site Assessment activities can include discussions, tours, reports and stakeholder engagement.
What happens if a site assessment uncovers an issue or finds evidence of modern slavery?
We are able to manage an issue or incident if one arises. We can provide further support as you collaborate with the site to improve its response to the risk of modern slavery and labour exploitation.
Slave-Free Alliance Site Assessments increase your organisation’s visibility of labour standards at site-level. This enables you to proactively address any issues and provide assurance that everything is in hand.
