Slave-Free Alliance Annual Conference 2024: A global forum for change
Slave-Free Alliance is gearing up to host our Annual Conference, which this year opens to non-members for the first time.
The event is an opportunity to understand more about how to protect business operations and supply chains against the risk of modern slavery and labour exploitation.
We will explore the OECD Due Diligence Guidance as a global standard for human rights in supply chains, and how to be compliant with upcoming and recently passed legislation and directives.
Marc Stanton, Slave-Free Alliance Director, said: “Following the success of last year’s Annual Conference in London, we have been working hard to develop a programme that inspires further positive change for human rights in supply chains. We have an exciting line-up of speakers and we’re delighted to be able to open the event up to non-members for the first time. If you haven’t already, I’d encourage you to register, and we look forward to welcoming you at the event and sharing experiences and strategies for the future.”
There is an incredible line-up of speakers and a packed agenda for the full-day conference, which will take place on Thursday 21st November at King’s House Conference Centre in Manchester.
Industry leaders, experts, and Slave-Free Alliance (SFA) members will share experiences, strategies, and innovations. Speakers include: Belinda Christine Borck, Impacticular Storyteller & Tony’s Chocolonely Foundation Manager, plus speakers from John Lewis & Partners, SSE plc, Exiger and VF Corporation.
More than 50 organisations were represented at last year’s conference, which looked at building ethical business practices in supply chains and the importance of collaboration, sustainability and responsible action. Diverse stakeholders came together to share innovative strategies and insights to combat the issue of modern slavery.
The SFA Annual Conference 2024 runs from 9am to 5pm (UK time). The full agenda and speakers will be released to delegates soon.
